Production process:

 

1. Raw Material Selection and Inspection

The coconuts must be thoroughly inspected and sorted based on their quality. The selected coconuts must be fresh, and free from damage or spoilage. These coconuts should be effectively cleaned to remove any impurities and dirt to avoid contamination.

2. Dehusking of Coconuts

The coconut is placed on an automated dehusking device that removes the outer hard shell of the coconut. This machine can remove the outer woody layer and simultaneously collects the coconut water in a sterile and hygienic tank. This process helps to reduce the overhead labor cost and faster processing of coconut.

3. Coconut Washing and Sorting

After dehusking, the coconut water is extracted, and the remaining coconut shells are transported to the washing and sorting system. The remaining shells and fibers are sorted using specific machines. These machines grind and remove the shells efficiently by separating the white flesh from the hardened shell.

4. Coconut Flesh Grinding

After sorting, the coconut meat is ground using a specialized grinder to obtain a fine coconut flesh that is stored in a container.

5. Coconut Milk Extraction

To extract coconut milk, the ground coconut flesh is put into a filter press or a centrifuge. The mixture is mechanically pressed, which separates the milk from the residues.

6. Homogenization and Pasteurization

After extracting coconut milk, it is homogenized to ensure uniformity in texture, and then it is heated in a pasteurization process to kill any harmful bacteria and increase its shelf-life.

7. Filling and Packaging

The coconut milk is then poured into sterile bottles or pouches, and sealed using a filling and packaging machine. During this process, the temperature of the bottled product is gradually decreased to prevent thermal shock.

8. Labeling and Storage

The filled and packaged coconut juice bottles are labeled before being placed into suitable storage facilities. This storage area must be kept clean, dry, and cool to ensure the maximum shelf-life of the packed coconut juice.

These steps will help you to produce high-quality Coconut Juice, that is fresh, has a longer shelf life, tastes great, and is free from contaminants.
