Working Principle of Drum Type Tea Leaves Dryer Machine

Drum Type Tea Leaves Dryer Machine uses the operation of the cylinder to allow the tea to be continuously transported out through the guide vane plate in the cylinder. The heat in the machine is mainly supplied by the lower furnace. The tea is put into the cylinder machine through the feed port and sent into the high-temperature cylinder.

During the continuous movement of the cylinder, the tea is evenly heated. The fresh leaves enter the high-temperature cylinder. As the cylinder rotates, under the action of the spiral guide vane plate on the inner wall of the cylinder, they roll in the cylinder and alternately contact the cylinder wall to heat and heat up to achieve the purpose of killing.

How to operate

According to the different processes in different places, the tilt angle is adjusted, and a small amount of fresh leaves are added to determine the withering time. Generally, the withering time of green tea should be controlled within 1 to 2 minutes; secondly, after the withering time is determined, coal or electricity is used as the main fuel to increase the temperature so that the shell and cylinder temperature around the withering machine reaches a relatively uniform temperature.

Experiments have shown that when the leaf temperature reaches 85°C, the enzyme completely loses its activity. Therefore, it is generally appropriate to control the temperature in the cylinder at around 110 to 120°C.
